Al Shabaab Claims Killing Father Of Somali Military Court Judge

Al Shabaab has claimed the responsibility for the killing of the father of Somalia’s Military Court Chief who was shot dead last night in Mogadishu by gunmen.

The slain father named Ali Nur Shute has been gunned down at his house in Dharkenley a day after 4 suspected militants accused of Oct 14 truck bombing appeared in the court.

Late Shute’s son, Colonel Ali Nur Shute is the chief of Somali military court where he presides over militant cases.

In a statement posted on its affiliated websites, the militants said they were behind the murder. There was no any comment from the Security agencies on the assassination.
