Mentally Disturbed Woman Commits Suicide In Mogadishu

A middle-aged woman has committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling in his house in Mogadishu, the Somali capital on Saturday night, her family confirmed.

Moalim Abdulle Ma’ow, the brother of the woman committed the suicide confirmed her death to Radio Shabelle, adding that she was “mentally unstable” mother of two children.

Hawa Ali Mohamed used to live with her family in the capital’s Yashid district. The news of her death has sent a wave of shock among the villagers who said she was a caring mother.

Police arrived the house, where Mohamed committed the suicide and took her dead body to CID for investigation, according to Ma’ow, speaking to Radio Shabelle by phone.
