Somalia’s Minister of Security Abdullahi Mohamed Nur ordered the acting NISA boss to submit a full report on the arrest of Mukhtar Robow within 48 hours.
A statement from the minister’s office said Mukhtar Robow’s family expressed concern over the health and safety of the jailed ex-Al-Shabaab deputy leader.
Mukhtar Robow has been under house arrest in Mogadishu since he was nabbed in December 2018, when he was the presidential candidate for the South West state.
