The Federal Elections Indirect Team (FEIT) has announced that delegates and candidates participating in the upcoming Lower House elections can make their payments in eight commercial banks in the country.
According to the notice released on Sunday, the delegates will be required to pay $30 while candidates part with $750 for clearance at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
Additionally, male candidates will pay a registration of $10,000 while women pay $5,000.
The following banks can receive the fees: Salaam, Dahabshil, Amana, My Bank, Premier, IBS, Amal and SomBank.
The monies are then required to be deposited into the Treasury Single Account at the Central Bank.
Last week, major election donors-UK, US and Norway demanded that the Federal Government and the FEIT account for all funds allocated for the elections.
According to the Federal Government, the election will cost $27.2 million.
