Somaliland elections team announces nine vacant seats for Lower House elections

Somaliland elections team has released the list of seats to be contested this week.

The State Indirect Elections Team (SIET) did not however disclose the names of candidates who will contest for the nine seats.

The electoral body did not also indicate the dates when the voting will take place.

So far, Somaliland has elected two MPs among them Deputy Prime Minister Mahdi Guled.

Somaliland is allocated 61 seats in the Lower House.
